The BE1-11i is a multifunction numeric Intertie Protection relay that meets protection and control requirements outlined in the Intertie Protection Standard IEEE Standard No.: 1547-2003, and California Energy Commission Rule 21 for the majority of applications. The BE1-11i provides three phase, ground, and negative sequence directional or non-directional overcurrent protection with four shot recloser, forward or reverse power protection, breaker failure, over/underfrequency, over/undervoltage and sync check, breaker monitoring and control, sequence-of-events recording, fault reporting, rate-of-change frequency, and metering functions, all in an integrated system.

Available in fully drawout
half rack case

Standard features include:

  • Each overcurrent element can be individually set for forward or reverse directional or non-directional control for maximum flexibility in any application.
  • Includes distance to the fault to aid in timely fault location and service restoration.
  • BESTlogicPlus provides the user with complete flexibility in configuring a protection and control system. User programmable variable and switch names make these relays completely self documenting.
